Bio:
Meredith is a charming and playful DSH tabby who loves sitting on your lap in between bouts of chasing after string, knocking balls around, and wrestling with her sister. She firmly believes in the importance of being clean, and will groom your hand if youre not up to her standards. She is a little goofy, and can often be spotted sticking her tongue out and batting at her strange, identical twin sister in the mirror. Meredith doesnt let much get to her, and is cool as a cucumber at the vets. Like most cats, Meredith needs a small period of time to get to know someone before becoming BFFs, but is a fun and loving companion once she warms up. Meredith is attached at the hip to her sister, Maggie, and they would do best if adopted together. Because of her overprotective mom, we are unsure how she is with other cats and dogs-but because of her young age, she will probably be able to adjust to most friendly animals. Merediths birthday is around December 15, 2018.

If you are interested in adopting, please follow the instructions below to expedite your application:
1. Fill out an online application available through our website () or through this link: Online cat application form
2. Please specify which animal you are requesting on the application by noting the 'NAME' of the animal and the Internal ID.
3. We will email or call you if we need more information; since we get many applications and are volunteers, we may not contact you immediately.  You may email yolospcafoster@gmail.com if you have additional questions.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at

We are still accepting applications on this animal; we do remove the pets from our site once they are adopted.
