Born April 2017, M, Orange & White Classic Tabby Domestic Shorthair
You have to love the little orange male tabbies, especially the beautiful Classic Tabby with those broad orange bands. Little Pippin has quite the story. A client in an exam room at the vet clinic, where one of our volunteers works, looked outside to find little skinny Pippin scrounging for food in a dumpster. The staff tried to lure him with food but he quickly ran away. The clinic is on a very busy corner in West Sacramento. It was critical to catch this little guy, ASAP. Luckily, the next day he was safely caught and brought into the clinic where he was given the full veterinary treatment and care. He was unneutered, stray, about 7 months old, thin but in good health. He is negative for FeLV & FIV, all blood, urine and fecal tests are normal.
He warmed up to everyone rather quickly. We have watched this kitten blossom as he enjoys the care and love of the staff. He is now ready to spring from the clinic to his own loving, INDOOR ONLY, forever home. Pippins beautiful Classic Orange Tabby coat has flashes of white on his chest and face. His tail is shorter than normal tail about 7-8 long with a little kink in the end. He loves his toys and cat tree; purrs up a storm when pet and cuddled by the clinic staff.
He is a small sized kitty weighing in at 7.5 lbs and a little chubby. He would do best with no small children or dogs. He enjoys the company of other kitties and plays well with the other cats at the clinic. He would love to have a new buddy in his new home.
Pippin comes fully vetted (vaccines, tested, wormed, all lab work), and of course he was neutered. We ask that he have regular veterinary care throughout his life. This lovable boy is a special treasure.
He is fostered in West Sacramento at Jefferson Park Veterinary Clinic.
